Gwydion's Daniel César passed away

Sad news from Portuguese folk/melodic death metal band Gwydion's camp: Forming member, keyboardist Daniel César, passed away on May 8th, 2025, at the age of 45 years.

Here is the band's message:

"Father. Companion.

These are all words that describe Daniel perfectly and yet so much would remain unsaid. Our faithful warrior, our brother, our founder, our everything, left us yesterday. We don't know how to feel at this moment, we don't know what to say at this moment.

So much that we achieved together, so much that remained to be achieved. There are so many plans that are now waiting for direction. But for our part, we promise to honor the work we have done with you! After all, you gave 30 years of your life to this project, it's certainly because you believed in it with all your strength!

We love you. We are family. Forever.

See you soon Daniel.
