Ozzy Osbourne passed away

Heavy metal legend John Michael "Ozzy" Osbourne passed away on July 22nd, 2025, at the age of 76.

Here is the statement from his family: "It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love."

Black Sabbath formed in 1968. Ozzy Osbourne was fired from the band in 1979 and his solo career began the following year. Ozzy Osbourne was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in February 2019. His final album, 'Patient Number 9' was released in 2022.

Black Sabbath performed their farewell concert just a few weeks ago, on July 5th, at Villa Park in Aston, Birmingham, England.
