Axemaster has gone back to the studio and is starting work once again on their new CD 'The Inner Terror'. Unfortunately, the data from the hard drive that crashed which contained many of the recording's sound files has not been recovered. So to not waste anymore time waiting, the band has decided to start fresh, replacing much of what was originally done. This delay has been tough on everyone involved, but the positive side to the problem is that after playing the songs MANY times since the original tracks were recorded, there have been improvements made by everyone on their parts which will enhance the songs overall. So although the time lost has been costly, it will benefit the sound of the final product. The band thanks all those who have stuck by them through all this, asks everyone for your patience, and will finish the project as quickly as possible.

Unfortunately, the new Axemaster CD 'The Inner Terror' has been delayed. With work almost completed, the hard drive at the studio that contained all the sound files for the recording recently crashed (very unusual that a 7 month old computer system would have a problem like this!!!!!!). The drive is currently at a data recovery lab. They said they are confident that they can retrieve everything, so right now it's a waiting game. Fortunately all the music is backed up, but if they are not able to get the data back all the vocals and MANY hours of mixing/editing will be lost. The band asks everyone for their patience and hopefully this problem will be resolved soon.

Ohio's thrashers Axemaster has hit the studio and started work on their long awaited new full length CD tentatively titled 'The Second Coming'. This will be the band's first new material available since 1991! It promises to be the best overall Axemaster release ever, a fitting comeback for a band who has stayed true to their metal roots. Pre-production versions (scratch recordings) of 4 songs that will be included on the new disc can be found at www.myspace.com/thebandaxemaster and
